ELEMENTAL HOUSE - FAYSTON, VERMONT

Our collaboration with Red House Building and Elizabeth Herrmann Architects, the 4,500-square-foot home in Fayston, VT, features Japanese-style shou sugi ban siding by Nakamoto Forestry; board-formed concrete, which employs the durability of concrete with the beauty of natural wood; ruggedly efficient European windows; attractive and harmonious acoustic wood ceilings; and epic, panoramic views of both Sugarbush Resort and Mad River Glen ski areas, and the surrounding Green Mountains.
