NET ZERO HOME - JERICHO, VERMONT

Designed by Ellen Strauss of Sanford/Strauss Architects, this 3,700-square-foot, three-bedroom home redefines sustainable luxury with Net Zero Energy & Carbon performance and a HERS rating of -95, producing more energy than it consumes. A geothermal heat pump provides year-round efficiency, while Hemlock and Brown Maple harvested from the property shape the beams, ceilings, cabinetry, and built-ins. White Cedar siding sourced from Currier Forest Products and Wilson Woodwerkes pairs with raw steel accents fabricated by Capitol Steel. Triple-pane windows by Alpen and triple-pane doors by Fenster enhance durability and thermal performance. The kitchen and laundry cabinetry were skillfully crafted by Sirak Woodworking, while custom masonry and landscaping by Mobbs Masonry and hand-applied plaster complete this refined, high-performance residence.
